Devlog 02 - Slow pace


The work on Alunar was a bit slow, hence the title. My wife and I got sick for 2 weeks, so I wasn’t able to do much work. Only a few days ago I started to actually code mechanics for gameplay features mentioned in last blogpost.


Now you can use a “Shatter Blaster” to clear some paths and uncover secrets on the map. 


There are also some materials and items to collect that will be required to push the story and side quests.


Sometimes you’ll have to use a detector to find materials in your surroundings, right now it’s just an animation but this shouldn’t be hard to add (famous last words from a gamedev).

I’m also finalizing work on the introduction sequence that occurs after the intro.
